In 1910, the people of Elmira and surrounding communities received an incredible gift.  The gift was the bequest of the home and art collection of Matthias H. Arnot.  The Arnot Art Museum in the 21st century has an expanding commitment to the goal of providing “an inexhaustible source of satisfaction of pleasure” as Matthias Arnot hoped almost 100 years ago.
