GALLERY GALA

The 18th Gallery Gala: homecoming
Your Biennial Opportunity to Purchase Works Directly from the Museum’s Walls

66 works — all by favorite regional artists— in the current First Floor West Wing exhibition are for sale by silent auction.

Gallery Gala brings together artists, collectors and the community for a spectacular evening reception and Silent Auction. Extraordinary foods, custom drinks and an opportunity to choose (and own) unique artworks combine for an evening of fun. And yes, we encourage those bare-knuckled bidding wars!

Designed to raise funds and make friends in support of the Museum, the Gala attracts the collectors of the region who recognize that the show and sale presents the best works by the area’s outstanding artists. Beginning collectors are also encouraged to attend, and works are sold at prices for all pocketbooks. All proceeds benefit Museum exhibitions, educational programs and special events.

We are accepting bids now through this fall; the gavel will come down on all sales at 8 pm on 17 November. Visit the galleries to place your bid, then join us in November for the live Gala event and be sure you’re the top bidder at the auction’s close. If you are unable to attend the Gallery Gala on 17 November, we will be happy to take a proxy bid for you, call 607.734.3697 ext.120 prior to the event, and we’ll keep you informed of your bid’s progress.

The live event is $20 for Not-Yet-Members, and Free for Members. Reservations are welcome, but not necessary. Reserve your tickets by emailing guestservices@arnotartmuseum.org
